At the time of universal threat, don't spread your divisive virus as well..

This is not situation being normal, by now if you haven't realized it, you need to read-up a lot more before you continue to read this piece.

We have never been so universally affected by any other phenomena like this one in our memory or what we have written down as verifiable human history of the past 500 years.  This has only been imagined before and not with this level of detailing and not definitely with this level of impact and sense of despair. It is one thing to have such events unfold in the big screen and it is completely another to have it happen to people around you.

All around us we have people staying at home and working. The only way we stay in touch with the outside world is through the internet and telephone for many people. In this context, like never before, communicating with responsibility becomes paramount.

In recent years in India as well as in several other parts of the world that we stay in touch with and which influences our own articulations, divisive articulation and its reactive articulation has been increasing. The impact is the permanent damage it has caused in many of  us in terms of our capacity to stay optimistic and be inclusive and open with others in engagement. Our capacity to creatively engage and design any productive / constructive social initiative has been severely damaged by the lack of optimism and inclusiveness in our engagement.

Current times calls for a major re-thinking at several levels. We cannot do so if we continue with our articulations the ways we have been doing in recent years. I am writing this, with a hope that some people do read what I am writing seriously enough, as a fervent appeal. Let's firstly recognize that our articulations have become exclusive, hate filled, angry, frustrated and arrogant in different degrees. Many of us have  constructed a moral high ground within ourselves that justifies our own behaviour. Its time to reflect and change.
